Agreed. I think one of the strong suits of the r1 is allowing people easy access to information/summarization on their desired topic, and helping draft out/formulate ideas without breaking the users workflow. Having generated excerpts can help deliver an idea, but it should always be backed with some human input.
IMO the forum should be a place for users to have more in-depth discussions, not just dump logs. They aren’t purposeless or useless posts, but I generally don’t see many participants in the comments on these types of posts.
edit: I’ve personally been adding some notation for the segments of my posts that are generated. I think there is some value in knowing what is or isn’t personally written.
yes, i think this is acceptable. my sort of broad guidelines are:
