Any word on Rabbit Hole app? Can’t imagine it’s difficult to create a WebView app for the Journal. Nothing unofficial as well?
Not something we’re working on right now but putting a Chrome bookmark on your homescreen achieves pretty much the same thing as what a webview wrapper would do.
Experience is pretty slow on mobile web I have to say. Are we allowed to create an unofficial WebView app?
That would be a @mattdomko question, since anything around logins would be considered something that shouldn’t be messed with.
I won’t go out of my way to break it if you make one, if that’s what you’re asking
I’d also advise against putting anything in the Play Store/App Store that looks like it could be confused for us (again, I wouldn’t go out of my way to break it, but we have monitoring in place for rogue apps, and I’d hate for your hard work to get taken down)
I appreciate the eagerness to build something better than what we have now - it means we’re getting something right on the device side Let me noodle on this a bit.
Any feedback on the app, guys?
I just downloaded it! It’s neat thanks.
Downloads do not work but I got to read and uninstall items. Thanks. Let us know when downloads work. Thanks
It’s for Android only, so it should just work fine if you allow external apps. I can’t support through the App Store, since it’s not an official app
I installed it on Android. It works very well except the downloads inside de application. You cannot download the audio nor the summary
Ok Simon. I Will be in stand by until you give the go ahead and not contact again to follow your Will. Hope you Will produce a kind of applications like this or enter in contact with the developer to join forces
What about Mac users?
I’ll work on iOS app next, not sure I’ll be able to solve downloads within WebView-app.
Can the app connect with your rabbit account ?
Yes, you logon with your Rabbit Hole account
Hi, please don’t post links to third-party apps that require login. We haven’t given the go-ahead for this. I don’t think this is done in bad intent but we need to take a look at it.
