Major update connectivity flaw

I know i can’t be the only one and if so, there are probably many people that cant get their r1 to update over wifi. This isnt the first time ive had the issue and figured it would resolve itself. However it hasnt. There is something very wrong with the update code based on being connected to a wifi signal. I have excellent wifi but the r1 will not update. Spent all night trying and trying, rebooting, etc. Nothing. The problem is it KEEPS dropping the wifi connection because after a while it says to connect again.
However this morning i turn on my personal wifi hotspot to my phone and connect. Wala, works in no time to update.

Same here. Losing wifi connection even though signal is strong. Only way to keep it connected is to connect it to my phone’s hotspot too.

I also have connectivity issues. Especially now that LAM playground is online it’s really bad if the connection drops and the session is lost.

After an update, i had to forget my wifi network and re-configure. This has worked so far after 2 more updates. Shoukdnt have to do this but its a workaround
