Life after death

Life after death is a big topic for many people, and I think it should be at least as big in the tech world. That’s why I started this topic. Of course, it might be a bit early at the moment, but I think those responsible at Rabbit should think as soon as possible (if they haven’t already) about what will happen to r1 when it’s no longer cool, because then, for example, r2 or r3 or r2-d2 or c-3po or whatever new thing the people in charge come up with will be cool, or maybe simply because r1 will definitely no longer be compatible with the rest of the infrastructure at some point.

That’s why I appeal to those responsible to think about this and, in the event that the servers for r1 do have to be shut down at some point in the distant future, in a distant galaxy, to include a plan for an alternative use or life after death for r1 in their other plans.

They already have a way to flash android onto the device, so if and when the servers go offline, we’ll still have some utility from the device. so no worries there

If you mean Lineage OS or something like that, yes of course that’s a great thing, but I meant something like that, that maybe it could really come officially from Rabbit at time X and then it should keep as much of the original meaning as possible, but then maybe in a slightly (very) more primitive way. Maybe offline or something. But surely this is thinking a little too much into the future. On the other hand, Windows 98 was already able to recognize voice commands and output speech, so something like this should also be possible at time X and then perhaps even better than in Windows 98…
