As anyone tried to access a remote desktop with LAM?
I’m thinking of using Google Remote Desktop as a proof of concept but since a code must be shared, it may prove to be a dead end.
I remember that years ago, there was a web client for VNC. It was not super fast but it did not need any plugins as the client was all coded in javascript.
The goal would be to control a local PC with apps instead of relying on webpages.
If that works, then maybe a remote access to an android device would be even better as it would unlock a list of features.
If you have suggestions, I’ll try it out tomorrow.

I just did a bit of reading and Airdroid could do the trick to access directly an android device.

I did try using the Remote Desktop from Google thru the browser.
Technically, LAM is able to established the connection with the remote computer, which is my laptoip. But it is not able to interact with the desktop icons. It looks like the click mecanism does not work with Chrome Desktop.
LAM seems to recognize that this is a computer, but it eventually get stuck with the side panel and just fighting with it instead of interacting with the remote session.
That was so close to work. I’ll see if I get a better success with Airdroid over the web has it is providing a way to interfact remotly.

I did install the Airdroid Web access to access my Samsung phone.
Technically, the features are working such as messaging and file management as it is a web appication that controls your phone.
But for the remote control of the phone itself, it does not work. LAM is able to view the phone home screen but cannot interact with it as it is not able to click on the icons. A bit of the same situation as the Google Remote Desktop.
Where it can get interesting is that using a paid account with Airdroid, it would be possible to ask rabbit to follow up on messages and that’s about it.
The other features are not really interesting aside from the remote control that would have let Rabbit control my phone remotly.
Maybe LAM will improve so that graphical remote access will be supported in the future.
