Why would you kill the best, most entertaining, and most advanced features that made the R1 so unique?!

I am a huge fan of the rabbit r1 device, and I truly believe in, and admire the ambitious features and capabilities that future updates are said to bring- (teach mode, etc.).

With that being said, I am more than just a little annoyed now that I’ve confirmed with my r1 device, that it no longer has the ability to generate (or playback) custom songs using Suno… the best you get is some custom generated lyrics.

Now I think I am right when I say, Midjourney not offering any free daily credits anymore, effectively making custom image generation only accessible if you buy a subscription- I don’t think you guys had anyway to effect that, since it was their call to go that route- BUT on the other side of the coin, the throwing out Suno custom song generation and the instant playback ability was a big step backwards in my opinion.

So no free custom image generation of any kind, coupled with the fact that there is now no free custom song generation of any kind… Those two features were arguably the most entertaining and fun features to mess around with and to experience with friends when showing off the r1 device. It would be nice to see one of those features come back in some way in the near future…

the feature is indeed still in the r1 - you can still generate songs… check your connections perhaps in the rabbit hole?

Suno still works, you might have been disconnected or not using the right keywords, like: “USE SUNO to make a song”. Also magic camera is an image generator, and it’s free…it doesn’t show the pictures on the device tho😮‍💨

Do you need a Suno subscription? I have not been able to create songs with the R1 for long while now

We haven’t changed anything with Suno.

This actually isn’t true either. You can use Magic Camera, and there’s a couple of hacks you can do with it:

  1. Point the camera at a blank surface, like a wall or a blank piece of paper, and in your prompt tell it what to generate.

  2. Use the “RonPrompt” hack which is basically opening up a blank document on your computer, typing a prompt there with text, and taking a photo of it with Magic Camera.
