What happened to Fireflies.ai

How are things progressing with Fireflies.ai? I thought Rabbit was working with them. Is there any word on that service? It’s a very interesting answer to Meeting Notes and would definitely compliment R1.

Here is a link to a transcript I did;

DOES ANYONE USE - Fireflies.ai? It complements r1 when you record a meeting.

I imagine it got deprioritized because of teach mode and beta rabbit. I think its still coming but its probably on the shelf until the more important features roll out. Teach mode is a priority because it might enable a lot of this functionality we keep suggesting.

You should check it out. You can do a lot with the free version. Even if you don’t do video meetings, it takes one of the recordings from the R1, does a complete transcription, and categorizes your notes really nicely. Check out my one in this link; it gives you an idea of how cool it is. Simon said they were still working on it, so that’s a good thing. I’m sure they have a lot on their plate.

I use Fireflies daily, but I must admit I am not aware of a link between it and the R1 or any issues with the service itself.

Sorry if I repeated this reply. Simon said they are still working on it, and I like to try out the video side of Fireflies

R1 and Fireflies integration would be pretty cool. I’m just trying to visualise how it would work in a practical way. I’m thinking out loud, but I wonder if it might be the case that it would be as basic as linking accounts, like is done with Spotify, etc., and using the R1 as the recording device, which then sends to Fireflies for transcription, etc.

However, Fireflies already exists as an app, so there is that.

I think your right just link to it once it is done recording instead of or send to both locations, the journal and the Fireflies, maybe they are working out the business end, I don’t think the Rabbit r1 just get free linking to SUNO and Midjourney, do you?

From the business end, nothing is ever free. And if you think it is, then that usually means you are the product :slight_smile: Based on the interface R1Rabbot hole vs Fireflies, I would much rather have it sent and processed by Fireflies. R1 is not even in the same universe when it comes to this side of it. And based on the updates, etc., I don’t see any changes to the interface in the near future, or ever tbh. And that comes back to Fireflies already having a far superior app. So the real question will be, what can the R1 provide to make its dual users say, “Great, Fireflies on the R1 is useful in this context over the app.” That’s what needs to happen.
