I support this and the expand of the ‘meeting record’ feature. I use this function very often.
A more detailed transcript and summary would be very helpful.
So when you do a recording indeed you have a summery there, but when you go to download you have the option for a full transcript and to download the audio.
The bummer of the transcript is that is not structured, text is just one after another, if there is dialog you need to figure it out when is one talking or so …
I think also a good idea is that this transcript to be in a nice format ( dialog as dialog etc )
PS: perhaps a simple copy to clipboard function would also be very useful, if you need now the hole transcript, you need to download it, open it, select all, copy
I think would be more productive and efficient if you could just open journal > copy to clipboard !
I just noticed that I assumed it was a complete transcript; why? Come to think of it, did you remember when Rabbit said something about partnering, if that is even the right word, with a company called Firefly https://fireflies.ai/? It’s an incredible service. I played with the free version a bit. It’s just what you guys are talking about. The service is expensive, but not for a company; check them out. I found them because Rabbit said they were going to do something with them; I wonder where that is.
I work in an insurance firm and my boss has been taking an interest in R1, especially the voice recording suite, but as impressed as he was with the natural language processing, meeting recording, and the accuracy of its summaries, both of us were pretty bummed at the lack of detail in them.
I’m trying to get him to buy an R1 of his own, so smaller considerations like this are starting to matter a lot more to me than before I started at this job. I saw R1 as a toy at first, but I think it can be more than that when we start to consider use cases outside of LAM and the teach mode.
