User Persona Building Suggestion(and a discord group suggestion)

I do not see a feature request group(on discord, please add one there): -

Main Suggestion for the RabbitHole allow users to upload profiles/resumes/background data on the user allow that data to be used so that the R1 has a persona which it can use to better interact with as to have a back ground in likes, dislikes, political standing, religious background, hobbies and more. This would allow the AI to make better user based custom responses and better emulate forming relationships easier. (just make this data secure so that it remains private.)

Oh, another suggestion is to allow linking between R1 and Home assitant to give the R1 voice control over home controlls the way any voice control does for Home Assistant, Google Assistant, Alexa etc. I would love to be able to tell R1 to do things around my home if it could interface with Home Assistant: Integrations - Home Assistant

Yes, ive been saying for months the rabbit hole needs to REMEMBER what we want it to just like Openai has and other ais have followed (i believe anthropic you can now), also you can input this as context window even in personal local models so R1 needs to have this. Also home assistant can be link within local models through openwebui using Llama so this should be able to too.

I believe we are looking into this as part of efforts towards at refreshed rabbithole for later this year. It’s definitely a great idea and would help make r1 way more personal. I don’t have any timelines yet but it’s a fantastic idea and definitely in the direction we’re thinking about.

I’ve tried a few prompts like ‘from now on’ and other attempts to set preferences (like temperatures in Celsius for weather reports) without success… It will give me Celsius when asked but forgets next day and defaults to Fahrenheit…
…Sulks the offended metric Canadian, lol

Some way to set preferences will be helpful

I had understood that R1 would pick up on the nature of your speech. It would seem it has had the time to get up to speed. Instead, it has been chastising me for having the wrong information when it has misheard what I said.

There is a work around that partly covers this using a note in the rabbit hole as the memory. This is covered in the “tricks you need to know” wiki here.

PPT: create a note called settings. In this note, add the localization details for [your country].
PPT: search the rabbit hole for settings. Use these settings and give me the current temperature for [country].

It’s a sort of very elaborate “beta rabbit” but it does work.
