I have reached out to support but I was posting here if the community might have a fix? I’ve done all the obvious things like restarting, activating the service, and making sure it’s properly inserted . I also tried on another device and the sim worked just fine
hmmm, strange my tello sim works just fine maybe ask tello to send you another SIM, i realize you said it works in another device, but I have had a sim not work in a tablet once but worked in my phone just fine and swapping the sim with a new one worked. so it might be worth a shot
Did you activate the Sim in another device so it can get updated then once it’s running put it in the r1.
I had to do that with my Lebara Sim. I activated it on line and in my iPhone then once it was registered ioved it over to r1 works great.
My tello sim works flawlessly. Maybe you didn’t input the IMEI correctly?
Yes … Tello can see it on their network
It was activated on the R1 first… my incoming replacement sim I will do first in a iPhone
I would bet it will work after that. Depending on how old a SIM is, certain radio frequencies are not longer supported, in such cases the best choice is always to get a new SIM.
I didn’t have to submit an IMEI just the activation code that came on the sim card and put it in the R1 and boot it up.
