Spotify music screen timeout

So I noticed that when playing spotify if the screen is on its pretty much flawless playback, but as soon as the screen goes off around 40secs the sound glitches and can speed up the song slightly till it catches back up, this continues to happen while screen is off. If I turn screen back on its back to flawless playback. Now for me this seems like when the screen is off to stop it deep sleeping to save battery it is doing something to keep it awake.

If we cant fix this issue can we have a screen timeout setting or better still while playing music dim screen to 1% or something similar.

I absolutely love my music and this is deal breaking me, the rabbit r1 is an amazing device and its just getting better but damn does this bug heat me. Its literally the best music device in this decade can we make a fix please team.

Respect.

Thanks for reporting @Sirpilz! I have raised this to the product and engineering team as a bug report.

I agree I’m so glad Simon was able to flag the audio and music player issues it’s user experience on my thread is just really bad :frowning: this all comes from a place of love  and I do recommend the team (not that I’m anyone important) but to play around with the music player and you’ll quickly find the issues referred in my thread alongside this one (tried to sum it up in mine but might of missed the mark on that) last thing I would add is making the player functionality available for offline use but I will create a thread to see how many users here would agree with something like that people I know in my community know they would use it as media player for there teens but don’t want to have data plans and sometimes don’t have WiFi… if possible it would be wonderful just being able to add mp3 files etc and use either Offline or online
