I was wondering if you can use the camera to scan a document and then either dictate it back or summerize and ask questions about said document. Or Alternatively upload a document for the r1 to use as reference to answer questions. I work with building codes and they are thousands of pages of legalese and you have to search for everything which can be very time consuming. Wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks?
I have used R1 to create spreadsheets/tables. I have not had any success actually asking it to read the content to me, but it does a nice job summarizing. Here is an example of a receipt scan: https://youtu.be/1kq7Lfzyjxk
And
Here is the information from the journal, I took a picture of your question and asked R1 to summarize it:

I used it on a legal document I didn’t fully understand, and R1 looked at it and helped me understand it—nice feature. I use Perplexity a lot, and it helped me come up with a better layout on my resume. It even helped me shorten it to two pages, which I could not do without Perplexity. I haven’t used Google near as much.
Can someone help me with this matter regarding Spreadsheets/ tables?
Can you share your actual prompts?
