Very nice, these examples could have been mine! Because those are actually some of the things that I tried with r1. But I think I’m definitely not the only one.

Great updates. My favorite is:

  • follow-up questions from beta rabbit are now together in a single journal entry in rabbithole

Thanks Simon! How can I get to know my rabbit is updated with the latest version?

Since this is a cloud update, there is no new rabbitOS version to download. These updates change how your the servers your rabbit interacts with operate.

Hi @simon ,

thank you for this update for beta rabbit.:+1:
Our rabbit r1 will get with this update more professional and get more helpful use cases in our daily tasks.

For me I use 'beta rabbit ’ very often to search and documentate things and summaries about questions.

Do you have a timeline or milestones for the upcoming cloud updates?

Thank you in advance. :idlerabbit:

while the no connection is welcomed - two requests

  • can it be a bit brighter as when out and about taking photos etc it washes out the very light text and when you need reading glasses to read computers this is hardly visible as don’t carry glasses with me
  • can the little strength bar be on once you shake it and use it it a top corner and brighter as once in photo mode that message / display disappears

Cloud updates are a little complicated. Because there’s no manual process for the user to do, what is actually now happening behind the scenes is that the cloud team here are free to deploy whenever they want or need to, and so cloud updates will happen all the time, with no fixed cadence. Some of these aren’t things that require any or much communication - for example, minor cloud updates that strengthen infrastructure or fix a bug relating to bigger things that are still being built aren’t necessarily things that we would feel the need to update on.

Also, on the marketing end it’s just not a good use of our time to be on call for making frequent small release notes every time this happens.

So roughly, you can expect something like this:

  • On a week where there’s an OTA, cloud update notes will also be included in the same release notes, effectively as a recap of the cloud updates that have been deployed in recent days.
  • On a week where there’s not an OTA, if there’s been enough cloud updates to warrant an announcement and a recap log, we’ll do so, likely on a Thursday.
  • If a cloud update makes a meaningful difference to the user experience, we may choose to do an ad-hoc announcement for it when it’s deployed.

Thank you mate, for your reply & the photo.
Regarding the “no connection” display on the main screen.
I have missed the little text in the background.

Great updates lately. I am really curious for the big ones like language, beta rabbit out of beta, rabbithole update, Timer, Reminders etc.

How much memory do we actually have available in the Rabbit Hole? Is there a limit? @rabbit

the sky i no longer the limits

OK, but what’s the point of having R1 if, at the end of this misdevelopment, no one can really understand or use it anymore?

Fun fact: The greatest people in the history of computers only looked like they were kissing other people’s asses.

Not sure the rabbit updated. Usually it updates by itself. How would i know if it updated?
