Wie klein die Welt doch ist, aber so sehe ich das auch Mann! Übrigens, ich mag deine Videos auf YT.

How small the world is, but that’s how I see it too, man! By the way, I like your videos on YT.

Die meiste Zeit über funktioniert SunoAI bei mir aber soweit ziemlich gut muss ich sagen. Klar ab und an gibt es da aber Probleme das stimmt schon, aber was ist schon Perfekt und läuft immer nur gut?

In english:
Most of the time, SunoAI works pretty well for me, I must say. Of course there are problems now and then, that’s true, but what is perfect and always works well?

Aber richtig cool wäre gewesen, wenn Du deinen Beitrag mit so Etwas wie “Hey ihr Karotten kauenden …” begonnen hättest… :joy: Nichts für Ungut, nur ein Joke!

in englich:
But it would have been really cool if you had started your post with something like “Hey you carrot chewers…”… :joy: No offense, just a joke!

I’m in Germany too so it would be amazing if we could enable the metric system and Celsius in the settings as a default option. Another thing that would improve the device a lot is a longer screen timeout for longer answers and the option to disable restart via button long press. The latter would be cool for questions longer than a minute. I’m using the R1 for translations and though it takes a pretty long time (my time kettle x1 does it basically immediately) the translation quality blows dedicated translators out of the water.

In english:

These topics have already been covered elsewhere, but as far as the screen timeout is concerned, I personally think it’s a good thing that it is because of the low battery capacity.

But as a very simple workaround, you can just play around with the scroll wheel a bit. If you already have a scroll wheel, why not play around with it? :carrot: :otarabbit:

You usually hold r1 in your hand anyway when you want to see the screen.

Yes! All of this after the last update!

This is true. Because when I connect to starlink it changes my time zone and location to Texas which is where my dishys ground station is located.

You’re correct and it’s a valid point regarding the timeout but I still would love to choose for myself and I would happily trade less battery life for that. Regarding a longer duration of the button press, I find it mildly annoying if my R1 restarts every time my question was longer than 1 min. Especially since the beta rabbit feature is a real game changer and I stopped using other personal assistants such as Pi.ai altogether.

Of course I can understand that, but I think there will be a good solution in time. Until then, we’ll just have to keep our ears to the ground. :listeningrabbit:

I think my r1 stopped updating

Yes I have the same concerns because the Rabbit r1 does not have any way of checking on the r1 device itself. Most devices have an option to check for software updates or the device will have saying it has the latest updates. …NOT THE RABBIT r1 DEVICE!

My other concern is the Rabbit r1 definitely NEEDS A STRENGTH SIGNAL BARS.
Since we carry the Rabbit r1 around, we need to know that the r1 device has a good strong signal or at least A SIGNAL!. …if no signal, we don’t know! …being the reason the AI is not functioning properly as the strength signal jumps in & out & the AI stops listening

Yes so 2 features NEEDED!

  1. A Strength Signal Bars ON THE MAIN SCREEN (at top the Rabbit)
  2. Rabbit r1 NEEDS TO SHOW our r1 Devices has the latest updates on this device.

Good luck working this device blinds folded!

A notification is displayed at the top of the screen when there’s no network

You haven’t missed any updates. a quick update on releases

People get a little disgruntled on both sides of the updates question. Some don’t like how you can’t delay an OTA device update. I get that. Sometimes you don’t have a charger handy and then you’re carrying a little orange brick around until you can plug in and update.

But knowing that you can’t delay a device update, it follows that there’s no point in having a ‘check for updates’ functionality. When the update is rolled out it’s going to hit like a ton of bricks.

Drewjustdrew, Mate, you are missing my MAIN POINT!
I’m NOT INTERESTED IN DELAYING A SOFTWARE UPDATE!
I want on my Rabbit r1 device …(AS DO MOST OTHER popular DEVICES)!
TO ACKNOWLEDGE ON MY DEVICE THAT IT HAS RECEIVED A SOFTWARE UPDATE!

Again! I’m not interested in delaying any Rabbit r1 updates,
I JUST WANT TO SEE ON MY Rabbit r1 DEVICE THAT IT HAS RECEIVED AN UPDATE
AND THE DATE of that module.
Cheers …RickRabbit

They could easily make it so that it tells you it’s got an update and plug it in mains or continue. Just like Apple watch does you need to have it on charge to update it. But you can still use it until you put it on charge for update.

Yeah mate, sounds good too:sweat_smile::rofl::joy:
My little Orange technical marvel is on charge for hours & still no OTA🤔

Mine too :sleepy::sleepy:

Ooooooo not my little Orange technical marvel.
My screen does not have this feature!

Go to setting and about and send me the build number so I can check yours

I think that’s where RabbitOS is a little immature. I don’t think they make the server end of the update compatible with both the old and the new client software when there are OTA updates. For whatever reasons, but probably to save on their resources. Yes, it’s do-able, but I don’t think it’s ‘easily done’ from their perspective.
