I woke up this morning to find my rabbit not setup.
I had to go through the setup procedure again.
When I went to the rabbit hole and went to device there were only two settings “mark as lost” or “unlink this r1”
It wasnt clear if I would lose anything when unlinking.
Might be worth putting the QR code on this page as well to let people relink if they have the same issue.
Wow, the same happened to me this morning. Couldn’t find a way to link back up again. I mean where is the QR for the profile i was already using. Mayor problem here…
Do you have to unlink it to link it again without losing your data?
Edit: Alright, I unlinked and relinked it by clicking ‘unlink this R1’ after you unlink it you get the QR you need. I think it is pretty bad to find your device totally reset…
Same here. Within one day, I experienced the same problem twice. I left R1 connected to the charger overnight. When I pressed the PPT button, it had completely reset to factory defaults. I set everything up again like described above. The next morning, the same thing happened. It had performed a factory reset while charging. Has anyone else observed this behavior?
The same here. Now, the question is: What leaked, and what is safe to use? Do I have to unlink all accounts, change passwords, and relink them again?
Same here (r1 reset back to not connected). Happend to me for the first time.
I sent a support request via Discord, then they told me to contact support@rabitt.tech. Due to their unavailability on weekends, I decided to fix it myself…
Then I un-linked/linked the device again, set the password for wifi and rebooted.
I wonder what happened for our R1’s to be reset
Does it maybe depend on the region/timezone / timeframe?

I’m in Europe/Zurich and last request yesterday on the 24th. was at 10:24pm - woke up at around 6am this morning and saw the reset.
Could be the case, I’m from the Netherlands

I’m in the UK and the same thing happened to me. It was really simple fix actually on a web browser on my laptop. I unlinked the device in the rabbit hole, followed the instructions to set up the device which were on the device and Pointed The rabbit to the QR code which pops up on the web browser and it just re-linked my account. The journal still works and everything is back to normal for me, all in all it took about five minutes

This doesn’t look like a security issue to me, more likely a bug that snuck into the EU cluster.

sorry for this issue - we’ve identified this was caused by EU aws cluster and we fixed it. we’re investigating further to make sure this won’t happen again.

In my test today I did not recognize this issue for my rabbit r1. My rabbit is the 5th badge. (Germany)
