I have two R1s in my household and I did an experiment to test battery life. On my R1, I turned off wifi and only used cellular. I’ve gotten over two days out of the battery. My fiancée’s R1, even without use, was dying rapidly with wifi. I turned her wifi off and switched to cellular and like mine, the battery was extended quite dramatically. It appears that something with the wifi is draining the battery even on standby mode. Both of us have 2gb plans which is more than enough.

Yeah agreed. Since I added a sim card the it became beter, even with wifi on.
Also, allocating a static IP adres for the R1 seemed to help. It looks like the R1 has/had difficulties with my Mesh network.

Can people share number and types of interactions / usage in addition to hours? Or even state per % battery? My feelings are: The r1 loses a bit more battery than I expected when off and when engaging with prompts (but need to verify the latter more systematically).

- Off: >4.0h/% (4 nights, cumulatively 35h and 8%) [EOD July 14]
- On: 50h + 6c + 2b + 59s = 110% (5 days, cumulatively 50h, 6 Magic Camera, 2 betaRabbit, 59 Search/Note (Cell + Roam + WiFi) and 110%) [EOD July 14]

- Off: ~1.0h/% - 2.0h/% (Confidence: Medium (33%-66%))
- Search: ~2 prompts/% battery (Confidence: Low (10%-33%))

Charged my battery to 100% this morning 8:00
I have done 35 requests today so far. It is now 18:32 and I am sitting on 80%
This was all done on cellular, however wifi was connected when I visited certain locations for approx 5 hours but no entries were done whilst in those locations.
