I did it without problems.
Check Wi-Fi and enable it.
The rabbit will look 4 any connection in his range.
SĂ©lect ur iPhone and connect it.
Sometimes I sélect the hotspot mode of m’y phone a moment b4 I let the rabbit scan .
Once your rabbit c the hotspot and u sélect it, it will Connect

It seems some people can and some people can’t connect to their iPhone hotspot. I can’t. It seems to connect (the iPhone shows a green bar) but fails.

I have raised a ticket with Rabbit a few weeks ago. See this thread for more info.

It “sees” my hotspot. When i hit connect it takes arround 30 seconds and then it says “failed connection “. On my iphone i can see the icon for sharing hotspot but it does not work. I read that a lot of people have the same problem

So one of the things that i noticed right out of the box was that it’s not really compatible with iPhones, but from what i understand from the other discussions on this subject is that it will not connect to an iPhone that has beta version of the OS.

Both my iphones 14 Pro Max & 15 Pro max have the beta OS 18 and when i try at the Ragge Festival last weekend with my friends phone, it connected with no problems to her 14 pro with a standard OS. Do you have a Pro Max also ? Maybe is something with the Max and the Beta OS… still trying to figure it out also, if anyone has more details on this, pls share!

Yep. Still dealing with this as well unfortunately.

Probably a good idea to list your carrier too as there are known issues with t-mobile iPhone hotspots on many devices specifically so we have seen most people complain about that combination (though it has worked for some).

I have an unlimited data contract with Budget Mobile. I connect to my hotspot with my laptop, and when i offer internet to other phones.

The hotspot does work with other devices.

I have standard OS on my iphone, no beta version. The network is KPN.
I just do not unstand why many people still have the same issue after all these updates.
Let’s hope they can fix it soon

Yeah would be cool.

I also cant really see my bluetooth devices. I have a bose s1 pro as a speaker and rabbit cant really see it.

As well as all my other devices which are Apple products, but he does pick up some Samsung devices probably from my neibours

It has nothing to do with a phone being budget or not. It should just work with any phone!

LOL the company name is BUGET MOBILE , it was created to actually give fair prices for data usage etc and then bought up by KPN , and become a under this umbrella company , read carefully

Tried setting up a hotspot with a few different phones with the same sim card.

  • iPhone 12 mini: not connecting
  • iPhone 4: works
  • HP/Palm Pre 2: works

Current assumption: a combination of network provider and a recent iOS version. Unless there is anyone here with a recent iPhone using the NL KPN network that managed to set up a hotspot?
