News as a Use Case (Best Pratice)

One of my favorite uses and still trying to solve best use (Prompt) for is retrieving news. (Best pratice I guess?) I don’t have time to catch up with all the articles as get ready for work or once I get off work to get caught up. Its really cool when it works.

:small_red_triangle_down: However in my LONG list I get the R1 turning off. ( I reported this in Bugs)

I noticed it seems I have to ask precisely “Give Me an update on today’s news.” and will give me a list of all the articled for the day - What I wan’t.

Other phrases will get me less, and really looks like if I tell it to update me on this afternoon’s news it does too?

Its cool though that then you can pick a topic and ask R1 and explore them, its super neat.

Anyone find a best practice for this?

I typically ask for the headlines from AP News and then prompt, “Tell me more about…” when I hear an interesting headline.

odd still get at times only 3 articles - normally afternoon when I ask for an update to todays news… I’d prefer the whole list but not sure how or why it pulls 3 vs all the headlines you’d see on a News site or so.

Ask it for the top 5 or 10 headlines. I’ve done it so often it just automatically gives me 5.

I’ve tried that too… sometimes it works fine. If it grabs ones out there, sometimes they don’t hit top 10. Least that makes it give me a list of 10! So it a good point.

I just did a VS kinda… Here’s what I like to see VS not.

This use keeps breaking down though and find it now refusing to even give news at all in some inquiries. Oddly today I got both…

Still homing into what the best way to ask is, as I am not seeing the consistency of asking and getting all these answers and not.

TODAY:
NO INFO -

Though asked again and got full news update!

Similar the other day:

Ugh, crazy… Still not finding the best terms to use. One said to avoid “article” that didn’t work!

I don’t know how it could somehow be possible, but if you ask from the terminal (I even did it in Italian) to search for news from the world and from Italy, the rabbit automatically generates a list of the most relevant news, if you ask he says verbally that he can’t search for news if he doesn’t pronounce the word Beta correctly before Rabbit.
