We’re now able to send emails with Gmail. It works. I was also able to post comments on Facebook and x.com. However, I’m experiencing issues with the login page on x.com, as it always asks for my credentials. It works with Facebook and Gmail, though. I’m really happy about these fixes.
Gmail is still giving me major problems. That’s why I use protonmail but it just writes the subject and never writes the body of the email.
I will try again to check if i got lucky.
Thaks for the tip about proton as i was looking for an alternative email just for the R1
Yes it’s nice because i just add contacts under short names there. But then again, i’m not able to send the body of mails so it’s not useful at the moment.
Just tried Gmail based on your callout above of it working properly and it does, was able to differentiate between subject and body text, worked great, cheers
Cool, what was your prompt?
In my case, i simply ask: go to gmail.com and reply to the last email from xxx saying that xyz…
And it does it.
Lol, it says ‘i’m unable to directly access Gmail or send emails on your behalf’… (so bad to get hallucinations like that)
For you it doesn’t? I have gotten it to work but repeating your prompt doesn’t work.
It’s so bad… i mean let us have a word to force Playground to start up
When it does that, i penta-click to reset the R1 and it does clear the LAM session so you can try again.
Double-click = 2 clicks
Triple-click = 3 clicks
So penta-click = 5 clicks
HI, I had to make it very specific, here is a test I sent to myself
go to gmail and send an email to nashdave07@gmail.com with subject of Test and body text of This is a test email from Daves R1
My prompt for sending an email works great on LAM Playground (Web) when I tried it on R1, I also got the message to say I cannot directly access Gmail etc. etc. - I first asked R1 to go to google.com which opened google webpage on LAM Playground (R1) - from there I used my prompt to send an email to (specific email address) with subject of (Subject Text) and Body Content of (specific message) - this worked
One callout, from LAM Playground (R1) - It tried to login with password etc. I had to ask R1 to Pause which it did, while I entered the details, once it was logged in, I repeated my prompt to send the email and it worked
Update: when I tried to send another email from R1, it did not keep the login details so again I had to pause and login even though I was logged in on LAM Playground (Web) - this is an issue if you have to keep pausing to login, you need to be in a position (near your desk) to be able to do that - so getting your R1 to send emails, at least through Gmail, is not fully there yet
