Hello! Love the new update. The only problem is very small : IT’S TAKING FOREVER TO UPDATE!! Every time I try to update it stays stuck on the preparing mode. It says “will take 20 minutes to prepare” although I feel like they meant 20 centuries. Can anybody help me? If you have the same problem you are in the right place. (I mean the community will help you, not me finding a solution.)

I think that’s a bit exaggerated. I think the update is running at the expected speed, at least for me. And there are always lots of things that need to be checked, etc. That just takes time. Everything that wants to be good takes time.
I don’t think that’s really rabbit fault, mine didn’t take so long, but this could be subjective cause i didn’t stare at the screen the whole time.
Maybe your connection is unstable or not so fast?
My guess is that they check all packages integrity or they do a “clean install”, leaving only local configurations like user’s settings, API keys and so on as they are (or, most likely, updating that with new parameters) and this could take time.
Also, they fixed WiFi connection issues.
To do that I’m pretty sure they had a failsafe system in which rabbit had to ensure all was working and a connection was working before going on with deleting previous version stuff and sometimes (like unstable connection or slow ones) this could get you stuck in check loops in which you update, get a “big nope”, get back, re update… .
@rabbit is my guess right (noob here)?
PS the WiFi fix changed TOTALLY my interaction with r1 cause I wasn’t able to use it on my home network, where I spend lot of time. That’s why I just started being active here. Kudos to devs for solving that.

Hi @MikaelRaja Please try to connect to stable network when receiving the update, also try hotspot connection if wifi network is taking too long.
