Expand community voting limit

Hi rabbit-team,
Hi everyone,

in this community board section here (suggestions & ideas), we can vote for ideas and suggestions, which are mentioned here.

With this voting system the developer team get an overview about the best prioritized and recommendes features for our personal assistent rabbit r1.

Unfortunately a limit ist giving for the voting system here, so I can not support mire ideas and suggestions, which are the most useful and helpful in my opinion.

For this reason I would like to encourage to expand the voting limit to a maximum or to infinity, so we can support more user ideas and gives the developer team much more information about high recommended features.

Additional to this idea I think the voting expand support much more the community or gives the community more influence.

Thank you in advance.:slightly_smiling_face:

I’m happy to expand it, but not infinitely.

Having a limitation acts as a forcing function to ensure people vote for the things they really want to see happen.

If everybody just votes for everything, then essentially everybody has also voted for nothing - and the purpose of having quantitative data is as a data point to potentially impact prioritisation.

Hi @simon ,

very good point, thank you for your argument.:+1: Also thank you for your reply.

Agree with you.
But an expand to a higher vote limit should be realised.

The fewer votes you have, the more important they are…

I hardly use the voting thing, kinda cause I didn’t understand why we only got a couple. I don’t think people would just vote for everything if they have more votes to give, even if they were infinite, think people would only vote for the things they actually like. Why would they even click a post, or read it all the way through, let alone vote for it, if they weren’t actually interested in it.

I think that only the best of the newest suggestions benefit from this voting system anyway, but not the best suggestions.

I’ve doubled the voting limit now.

That is really great. Thank you very much @simon. :+1:

At the moment I don’t have the new expanded voting limit and could not vote for more ideas.

Thank you for your great support here. :+1:
