Discord is newly blocking my ability to post on the Rabbit area though I am still using the Glowforge area. It is insisting I give my phone # but as I am using Google Voice it is refusing to accept that answer. As there is no alternative all I can think of is to ask for help here.

Hi there - Yes, we have added the requirement on our Discord server to have a phone number on your account to avoid spam bots and alt accounts of previously banned users from showing up again.
I’m afraid they don’t accept Google Voice numbers for this requirement, do you have any other number you can use?

not at this time- I am trying to get a chip for my r1 but have not managed as yet.
You have seen me about, and I am in Regulars in the Glowforge group.

Unfortunately as it’s a global setting, there is no individual override.
