I have always hated Apple products and would never purchase their product because they have always been propriety. Will Ri let other developers rapidly help them to improve their product, like Android developers?

too much fragmentation would occur, at least in its current form. a closed source environment would improve stability and security as well. which if we’re dealing with a personal assistant, then we’re talkign about personal information…
etc. etc. etc…

I see it exactly the other way around, the best and most secure operating systems in the world are all open source.

I hoped being open sourced would increase the speed of development with the R1, don’t think this is an option to date.

I know that security is generally the biggest illusion that people lie to themselves and that we are lied to from all sides, but that’s just how it is with us humans. Most people would always choose a beautiful lie instead of the ugly truth. The Matrix and every religion send their kind regards at this point.
