A battery level indicator when not connected would help a lot.

good idea. 
At the moment I have the feeling, the consumption of the battery is still ‘middle/high’, even though it is in standby mode. So with a hint with a battery level indicator I will get a quick look, if I have to charge my rabbit r1.
