My kids are a little older and use AI as a private teacher to explain school topics. One that never gets impatient and uses simple language to explain complex concepts. I would have wanted that as a kid.
Your suggestion could merge with this one, creating a specifc profile for a child with instructions for the AI to address a young child.
If, however, the R1 is developed more and more as a personalised device it may be useful to be able to, in addition to interaction profiles, also have user profiles with a separate conversation history (to prevent Rabbit to eg, remind you of an upcoming Sesame street episode at work
