Thought it would be fun to have a place for people to post their Rabbit related 3D printing projects.
Here is a case idea I came up with for my sling bag strap to use similar to a walkie talkie. Managed to design and print it all in one single piece including a 3D printed spring.
The main issue would be the spring on it releasing if it was on a lanyard. I think some other users have made cases with lanyard/keychain rings in the top corner though which may work better.
@raven I love it! Do you have an STL posted anywhere? I just finished another remix of my case… this time with magnets. Warning I don’t know how much the R1 is going to like having 4x neodymium magnets that close to the battery… but I’m going to find out rabbit r1 case with magnetic clips by hashtagcyber - Thingiverse
Haven’t posted yet since I was always worried that it would pop open and also wanted a bumper case on mine so I have since made a belt clip instead. Might post somewhere eventually!
Here is my little creation - Rabbit r1 Sound Boost Base
It is a desk stand for the r1 but re-directs the sound from the back out the front and also amplifies it a little - perfect for playing music or a bedside alarm
It can be downloaded from Makerworld for free - please just do not make and sell as just provided for hobbyist use.
Please give a like at Makerworld if you download and like it and then might design a few other parts.
here is a link to the Rabbit r1 model so others can design accessories for it - though is recessed where the glass panels by 1mm (screen and camera) and would go so people can identify the components of the Rabbit r1
The roll wheel is non-functional and nor is the button - is just a reference model for size but has the power plug and SIM card details.
I did not add speaker holes - rather a slight recess to show where the holes would be
